How would it affect the economics of the United States if Denver disappeared?
He stated that the United states would be substantially impacted by the lose of Denver. Because he is the Mayor of Parker and not Denver he was a bit worried he wouldn’t provide all the information needed to answer my questions fully but, he did. The disappearance of Denver would have a huge financial impact. Billions of dollars of income from the blue collar workers would be gone. Denver is an area that brings in lot of employment as well and with the loss of employment many people would be left with nothing. Most people rely on employment with in Denver because of the payments given to each individual. It would have a huge financial impact that would not only affect Colorado but hurt the United States as well.
What key industries would have changed?

Would there still be legalization of drugs?
Mr. Waid began with saying that according to the fourteenth amendment, there is no actually legalization of drugs. There are certain requirements within Denver that would allow a person to be able to buy marijuana, but no other drug. It wouldn’t necessarily affect the United States in that sense but it could potentially have an effect with the marijuana in Colorado.
Could the United States rely on other cities for their economic benefits?
Resources would definitely increase due to disappearance. Mr. Waid stated that Colorado and the United States would be negatively impacted. However the United States would shift its needs and other major cities would benefit significantly. So overall economic benefits would decrease a little due to the lose of such beautiful territory, but in the end The United States would fill this loss in the economic system and reach out to other major cities.
