How would It affect the United States If Denver disappeared?
If Denver was to disappear, Colorado's economy would be affect the most. This is due to the industries it holds currently, travels through DIA, and population increases. Denver is known for it's industry success rate, let alone Colorado. According to Mike Waid and Rich Beeson, this would not just cause an in state disaster, but also a global disaster as well. The creation of business and universal industries like Direct Tv and Chipotle, are really what has shaped Denver. Without them, Denver wouldn't be known like it is today. This also has helped Denver have major success in expanding in population and if it was to disappear where would those people go? Their homes and lives would be lost. With a population size of 648,937 people, It would not be easy finding new homes for each one of them. Also, If DIA, Denver's international airport, was to disappear there would be a huge disturbance in the travel systems. Several flights and routes would have to be redirected. It would take years to figure out these changes. With DIA being the 5th busiest airport, The United States would be very overwhelmed with the amount of changes it would have to solve with this lose. The United States would take this disappearance poorly in the fact that it would cause major problems and recreating the success Denver had in another city would be close to impossible. So overall, The city of Denver would cause major discrepancies in Colorado and the United States if it was to disappear.
